Job Summary
You will play a key part in fulfilling Makeba’s product vision. We're on a mission to design and deliver consistent delightful experiences and we are looking for an individual with a passion for product design and user experience to help us get there.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of the product team which looks after all Makeba products
• Conduct user research and testing
• You will be defining user experiences and user interface problems and designing solutions for existing and new products and features
• Design user flows/journey’s, information architecture, low fidelity, high fidelity and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, marketing and other internal teams and stakeholders
• Design, iterate, and validate multiple ideas quickly
• Create and maintain a design system that is functional and accessible

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of work
• Minimum of 2 years product experience as a ux designer, ui designer or similar role
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm to understand customer needs

Bonus points

• Speak French or Portuguese
• Experience in FinTech
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
